Francisco Sanchis Cortés was born in Valencia on April 30, 1969. From a very early age he began to develop great artistic skills as well as a high creative capacity that he will continue to revive and develop throughout his life.
 
He studied at the schools of Pilar and García-Hernández.
 
Once finished school, he ventures to study law at the University of Valencia while at the same time he combines it with a brilliant job as a creative at Fox Publicidad, making the most diverse posters with only 18 years old; at that time he got all the new romantics of the city turned his head to contemplate the mythical poster of the disco "Metropolis" that had as basis the letters of Lang.
 
At the moment, he feels the "call of art" and undertakes a new adventure that will mark his life. In 1993 he left his law studies when he started in the creative art of painting, whose inaugural challenge is the preparation and elaboration of his first exhibition that takes place in Montpellier in 1994.
 
After a rigorous year of work, in 1995 his first exhibition in Montpellier at Collège Philippe Lamour concludes with radiant success.
 
In 1996 he began his career in the Sala Gabernia together with other painters and began to hold individual exhibitions in the Segrelles Gallery, since its inception, he has collaborated with both galleries consecutively up to the present.
 
In 1997 he ventures into another new city and begins his journey in the Sala Braulio de Castellón, at the present time he continues to collaborate with this gallery making exhibitions intermittently.
 
That same year (1997) continues with the expansion of his work, making a brilliant exhibition in the Puerta de Alcalá Gallery in Madrid, today he continues to collaborate with this gallery.
 
From 1997 to the present, he makes individual exhibitions in the aforementioned galleries: Segrelles Gallery in Valencia, Sala Braulio in Castellón and Puerta de Alcalá in Madrid.
 
In 1997 he received the silver medal from Galería Segrelles.
 
Between 1998 and 2000 he has collaborated in several group exhibitions in Mexico, England, Holland and Belgium.
 
In 2001 he painted the portrait of the Archbishop (already deceased as Cardinal in Rome on May 1, 2011) Don Agustín García-Gascó and Vicente at his request as a personal admirer of his work. Something to be noted by the presence of the Most Reverend Archbishop on the day of the inauguration of the artist's exhibition at the Segrelles Gallery.
 
In 2004 he opens at the Hatman Art & Society Gallery in Coral Gables, Miami, by personal request of the American gallery, showing his Valencian painting to the American continent.
 
In 2006, he exhibits in Jaén, for the solidarity collaboration with Children's Villages, in the Casa Almansa (Real Economic Society of Friends of the Country) with the collaboration of His Majesty Prince Felipe de Asturias.
 
From 2007 to 2009, it opens in Sammer Galley of Lanzarote and Puerto Banús (Marbella), expanding through it to London, Berlin, New York and Dubai.
 
In 2008, he made a work for the Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art Don Angel Miguel de Arce López in Burgos (member of the National Association of Art Critics) for personal friendship of the artist with the professor.
 
In 2009, he made an individual exhibition at the Kunst gallery in Antiek Liliane Verschueren in Holland (Amsterdam).
In 2009, he carried out two works for the High Altar of the Parish of San Martín in Valencia on the occasion of La Luz de las Imágenes.
 
In 2009, he debuted at Art Wanson Gallery based in Marbella, London, Dubai, New York, Paris, Amsterdam, Milan, Monaco and Venice.
 
In December 2009, he held an individual exhibition at the Art & Design Gallery in Berlin.
 
At the beginning of 2010, he joined the Escolá Group of Catalonia.
 
On March 24, 2011 and under the chairmanship of His Excellency Mr. Gonzalo Rodríguez González-Aller, Rear Admiral of the Spanish Navy and Director of the Naval Museum of the Navy and Commodore of the Madrid Fleet of IYFR, Bernardo Rabassa Asenjo was held in Gran Hotel Meliá Fénix of Madrid under the auspices of the Rotary Clubs Madrid Castilla and Madrid Puerta de Hierro, a gala dinner for the donation of a work by Francisco Sanchis Cortés for "Blind Navigators".
 
In October of 2011 he joined the artistic investment company "ScultradeArt" inaugurated on the Madrid Stock Exchange on October 31, 2011

This same year, he develops his artistic project "Music for an Exhibition" together with María Bernal Sanz and the collaboration of "ScultradeArt"
 
In April 2013, she joined the Art Wanson Gallery for the international viewing of her lyric project with the collaboration of Ms. María Bernal Sanz (Legal Adviser of Cultural Heritage, UNESCO Advisory Council)
 
In September 2013, he was decorated with the Gold Medal of the "Foro Europa 2001"
 


In 2014, he exhibits in "Scultradeart" in El Señorío de Illescas part of the collection "Music at an Exhibition"

This year he made the shield and the figure of San Nicolás for the book of Honor of the Parish of San Nicolás in Valencia. Later, he made a large-scale work for it located at the entrance of Caballeros de Valencia Street.
 
In July 2016 Francisco Sanchis Cortés, begins to conquer the most elitist field of the opera at the international level, through Mrs. Marta Garcia Salas, Schatradeart's Marchante, the German nobleman and great orchestra conductor has been handed over. On August 7, 2016, at the VIII Benicàssim Opera Festival, accompanied by Marta García Salas and Angel García, Marchante and Director of Scultradeart, respectively, the soprano Ainhoa ​​Arteta and the pianist Rubén Fernández Aguirre shared their magnificent performance. At the end of the concert, the soprano was presented with his portrait, which is part of the collection "Music for an Exhibition" made by the artist Francisco Sanchis Cortés.
 
In 2018 he carried out the work of lyrical inspiration on the cycle of "The Ring of the Nibelung" (Der Ring Des Nibelunguen) by Richard Wagner with all the characters that make it up over the course of his four operas "The Gold of the Rhine" Das Rheingold, "The Valkyrie" Die Walküre, "Siegfried Siegfried" and "The Twilight of the Gods" Götterdämmerung The dimensions of the canvas are 1.95 x 1.35 centimeters.

Between December 2021 and January 2022, he exhibited at "La Casa de la Cultura" in Arroyo de la Encomienda (Valladolid) and at the beginning of December he exhibited part of his collection at "El Jardín de la Abadía" (Valladolid)


In November 2022, in the twelfth and thirteenth edition of the prestigious magazine "Hojas Wagnerianas", a publication of the Wagnerian Association of Spain, Don Fernando Guzmán develops the artist's biography and his closeness to the prolific world of theLeipzig composer with works by the painter both in the extensive interview and on the front and back covers with "Die Walküre" and "Parsifal" respectively.​

 

In 2023 the author's work begins to be commercialized in NFT format.

 

In April 2023, he participated in a collective exhibition at the Leonid Afremov Gallery in Valencia, returning the artist to his homeland after fourteen years.
